Woodgrain has two "Benefit Holidays" per year when there is a third pay date in the month. Although there are 26 pay periods in a year, premiums are deducted from your paycheck only on the first and second pay dates each month, or 24 times per year. That means you will receive two (2) paychecks per year, without any premium deductions.
As a full-time hourly employee working 30 or more hours per week, coverage begins on the first day of the month following 59 days of continuous employment; for salary employees, coverage begins on the first day of the month following 30 days of continuous employment. You may enroll your eligible dependents in the same plans you choose for yourself. Eligible dependents include your legal spouse and your natural, adopted, or step-child(ren). The dependent age limit for children on your medical plan is age 26, but may vary for other benefits offered.
For most benefits, coverage will end on the last day of the month in which your regular work schedule is reduced to fewer than 30 hours per week, your employment ends, or you stop paying your share of the premiums. Your dependent coverage ends when your coverage ends, or the last day of the month in which the dependent is no longer eligible.
