aAt Woodgrain, we choose to put safety above all and keep each other safe. Woodgrain continues to respond to the pandemic to keep employees safe and maintain business operations. We are monitoring state and local guidelines and are proactively working to follow appropriate protocols to keep employees safe and employed.
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Woodgrain requires employees to practice social distancing and wear face coverings in common areas or areas where work is in close proximity to others. Measures Woodgrain has put in place to reduce the spread of airborne disease include: Frequently sanitizing of high-touch surfaces, ensuring employees have access to PPE such as facemasks and hand sanitizer, increased ventilation in facilities, installation and utilization of physical barriers such as Plexiglas in areas where social distancing is not otherwise possible.
Employees should remain aware of their own medical needs. Woodgrain strongly encourages any employees who display potential COVID-19 symptoms to remain home and return to work upon full recovery to best protect themselves and other members of the community and Woodgrain family. Employees should utilize all personal protective measures, including: frequently checking for symptoms, practice social distancing, wear a mask or other face covering, practice frequent hand washing with soap and water, and use hand sanitizer between washings.
The following information provides a summary of changes to our medical plan coverage in relation to the COVID-19 pandemic. Please read this notice and reference as needed. All other Woodgrain benefits apply, including sick and vacation time, medical insurance, and short-term disability.
